The title of their new CD is being kept under wraps, however, Dave and Tommy Miller provide an update about one of the new songs on the upcoming Miller Brothers Band CD.
Dave starts off: "I wrote a song a while back with a guitar line that Tommy resurrected. He and I worked on it in my home studio and right away everything just started to come together."
Tommy chimes in: "Since I first heard it, I've always loved that guitar riff...it's a great combination of power and simplicity. With my headphones on and while driving around, I started working on lyrics for the verse. The aggressiveness of the song led me in the direction of war and warfare for some reason...then it headed in the direction of being a characterization of the Fightin' Man. It's still in a fluid state..."
Dave again: "We laid down a version of the tune and took it up to Mark's studio to get his reaction...the guitar part got him right away and so we worked on the arrangement and recorded another version at Mark's studio...We're all very excited about the direction of the song and can't wait to finish it up. I think it's another side of the Miller Bros. and we can't wait to share it..."
Work continues on the new Miller Brothers CD.
